José is admitted to practice in Argentina. He was director of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association during 2002-2005 and 2010-2013, and is director of the law review of said association.
He is member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) representing Argentina; the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN); the International Bar Association (IBA); the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB); the ICC Latin American Group of Arbitration; the Spanish Club of Arbitration (CEA); the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA); and the Argentine Committee for National and Transnational Arbitration (CARAT).
He is also listed as arbitrator in the Energy Arbitrator’s List of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR); the Commercial Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CEMARC); the Business Arbitration and Mediation Center (CEMA); and the Arbitration Center of the Bolivian Chamber of Hydrocarbons and Energy (CEAR-CBHE).
