Juliana is a Consultant in the International Arbitration team of the Paris office, where she advises in the framework of commercial arbitrations under the main institutional regulations such as the CCI, the CRCICA, DIAC, among others or ad hoc arbitrations. Juliana also advises on the drafting and review of arbitration clauses.
Juliana is admitted to the practice of law in Colombia. Before joining Mayer Brown, Juliana was Deputy Counselor in the Latin American team of the International Court of Arbitration of the CCI between 2011 and 2016, where she was in charge of the administration of around 200 arbitrations conducted under the ICC Rules, including a high number of high profile arbitrations involving large companies, States and State entities in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. Previously, Juliana worked as a lawyer together with a renowned arbitrator in a Parisian arbitration boutique.
In addition to her native Spanish, Juliana speaks English, French and Portuguese.
