She coordinates the arbitration team of LO Baptista-SVMFA. Has 20 years of experience in judicial disputes and in national and international arbitration, acting both as lawyer and arbitrator. Her practice comprises civil, commercial and corporate matters, in a wide range of sectors (for instance, energy, construction, real state, software, franchising, pharmaceutical and banking). Elected vice-president of ICCA in 2014. Chaired the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). Participates as a committee member in various academic and arbitral institutions: ILA, ICC, ICDR, CCBC (Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce), CIESP (Center of the Industries of the State of São Paulo), and AMCHAM. Graduated in 1993 at the University of São Paulo, where she also got her PhD in 2008, after taking a specialisation course at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and obtaining her master’s degree, also from the University of São Paulo. Professor of Arbitration at FGV. Coordinates the arbitration course at IICS. Often lectures and publishes articles on arbitration. Author of “A Importância da Sede da Arbitragem: Visão a partir do Brasil”.
